Rock Climbing is a fun and exhilarating activity for all ages and abilities. However, as with any adventure sport, there are inherent risks. It is important all participants understand the risks and consequences of climbing. The Climbing Wall mandates individuals are accountable for their choice to climb and take personal responsibility for their actions while climbing at our facility.  

 All climbers must complete The Climbing Wall’s Acknowledgment of and Assumption of Risk and Release 
   Form prior to climbing!
All spectators must complete The Climbing Wall’s Spectator Waiver prior to entering the climbing area(s)
 Climbers/Spectators under 18 years of age must have a Risk and Release Form signed by their parent   
   or court appointed guardian
 Climbers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult (age 18+) at all times while in the 
   climbing areas
 All climbers are required to wear a helmet (provided free of charge). Anyone who does not want to 
   wear a helmet, must complete the helmet waiver.
 Faxed or emailed Risk and Release Forms will not be accepted by TCW.

General Rules and Regulations for The Climbing Wall, Inc.

  1. All climbers and observers must check in at the front desk before entering the climbing areas.

  2. All climbers must sign an Acknowledgement of and Assumption of Risk and Release Form.

  3. All spectators must sign an Acknowledgement of and Assumption of Risk and Release Form.

  4. All climbers & spectators ages 6-18 must have Risk and Release Form signed by their parent.

  5. All individuals must be Safety Certified prior to climbing or observing.

  6. No one may climb while under the influence of controlled substances.

  7. All climbers must wear a helmet or sign a helmet waiver (if under 18 years of age, a parent or court appointed guardian must sign).

  8. No one under the age of 6 is permitted to climb.

  9. No bare feet. Closed toe athletic shoes or climbing shoes must be worn to climb.

  10. Customers must respect and obey all requests made by TCW management and staff.

  11. Food and drinks are not permitted in any of the climbing areas.

  12. Any customer disregarding any rules/regulations is subject to loss of climbing privileges with no refund.

Customer safety is our main concern at The Climbing Wall, Inc. The Rules and Regulations are designed to provide a safe and enjoyable climbing environment for everyone.
